Amici Italiani Youth Folk Dance Troupe

Amici Italiani Youth Dance Troupe continues the traditon begun in 1989 by Carla Cacciatore Mullin and Lisa Fedeli. Nineteen young dancers between the ages of 8 and 14 learn traditonal Italian folk dances possed down through generations of Italian traditions.

Pauline Urso and Carla Cacciatore Mullin work diligently with the boys and girls to introduce them to the music and the movement of their ancestors. Under the sponsorship of GRIAA, the Greater Rockford Italian American Association, it gives us great pride to see these young adults perform for all occasions throughout the Northern Illinois area. We look forward to them to join our adult Amici Italiani Troupe!.
